My full name is Avram Lev Robinson-Mosher. However, I have never gone by Avram and have always been known as Avi. At present, I act as a PhD student in Ron Fedkiw's research group at Stanford studying physical simulation, particularly solid/fluid coupling (there are pretty videos on my papers page). I have dabbled in Human/Computer Interaction. I hold a Masters of Science in Philosophy, Policy and Social Value from the London School of Economics.
Extracurricular interests which have consumed significant amounts of my life include but are by no means limited to: archery, rock climbing, piano, fire spinning, fencing (foil), social dancing, reading a great deal, ping pong, anime, and philosophical speculation. I have been a member of the Stanford Archery Team for the last several years (I'm the tall dude on the left with the funky hat). I speak Japanese, though not fluently, and French, though I confuse it with Japanese.
