I'm a Director of Engineering at eBay in the Innovation & New Ventures Group, working on integrating technology into the retail experience, both online and in store. Previously, I was the CEO and co-founder of Phisix Fashion Labs, a Bay Area technology company helping apparel e-tailers increase sales and reduce returns through the application of innovative 3D modeling and physical simulation technologies. eBay acquired PhiSix in 2014.

I was previously a Research Scientist in the Parallel Computing Lab at Intel Corporation. My primary interests are in graphics, particularly physically-based simulations. I graduated with my Ph.D. from Ron Fedkiw's group at Stanford University.

I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington in June 2006.

Previously, I worked on research at Microsoft Research Asia, with Dr. Kurt Akeley and Dr. Harry Shum, investigating problems with z-buffer resolution.

I also did research at UW in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering with Professor Richard Anderson. I worked on a piece of software called Classroom Presenter, which is a presentation system used for conferencing and lecturing.
